E4 is sometimes shown intermittently when the AlertMaxx2/Rego1 is connected to the internet and temporarily fails to transmit data to the remote monitoring system. This usually happens if the Wi-Fi signal strength is poor or the network is very busy. The router/access point should be located close to the AlertMaxx2/Rego1 unit to ensure the best and most stable connection. The AlertMaxx2/Rego1 could also be connected to an independent network/group to ensure the network traffic is clear for transmission.
The E4 will flash for a few seconds and then clear. After approx. 4-5 minutes, the unit will try to send the data again (fast flashing blue).
