No, the AlertMaxx2 enclosure is fire retardant (UL94 VO) and the PowerMaxx2 is enclosed in a metal casing.

No, the AlertMaxx2 is powered by the mains cables that you would have provided power to the pumps with. The AlertMaxx2 is fitted as a junction box as per the wiring schematic here.
